As of September 30th 2021, Let's Encrypt older root certificate DST Root CA X3 has expired. This means that older devices that don't trust the new ISRG Root X1 root certificate will start getting certificate warnings when visiting sites that use Let's Encrypt certificates (Our free SSL certificates). Any API providers will also need to make sure that their CA bundle for Let's Encrypt has been updated to use the new ISRG Root X1 root certificate. If you are seeing SSL expiry errors when users are making connections to your website we would recommend making sure that the end users seeing the issue have their browser up to date and have cleared any local cached SSL data. If you are seeing SSL expiry errors when your website is making external connections to another provider you will need to request that the provider in question update their local CA bundle to make sure that Let's Encrypt new root certificate is being used.
